Call for Speakers: Build With AI Kampala 2025

Empowering the Next Generation of AI Innovators

GDG Cloud Kampala is thrilled to announce the "Build With AI Kampala 2025" event, a series of impactful workshops designed to equip developers, technologists, and innovators with cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence skills. This event, taking place on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at Cavendish University Uganda Main Campus, aims to foster a vibrant AI community and provide hands-on experience with Google's latest AI and ML technologies.

We are seeking passionate and experienced speakers to share their knowledge and insights with an eager audience of developers, students, and professionals from all skill levels. If you have expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related Google technologies, we invite you to submit your talk proposals!

What We're Looking For

• We are interested in talks and hands-on workshop proposals that cover, but are not limited to, the following topics:
• Generative AI Applications: Real-world use cases and innovative projects built with Generative AI.
• AI Studio: Practical guides and best practices for using Google AI Studio.
• Gemini and Gemma Models: Deep dives into utilizing the Gemini and Gemma family of models.
• Vertex AI: Leveraging Vertex AI for MLOps, model deployment, and scaling AI solutions.
• Machine Learning Fundamentals: Core concepts and essential techniques for beginners.
• Responsible AI: Discussions on ethical considerations and responsible development of AI.
• AI for Specific Domains: How AI is transforming various industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, education).
• Integration of AI: Incorporating AI into existing applications (backend, Android, Flutter).

We encourage proposals that are practical, engaging, and offer actionable insights for our attendees. Hands-on workshops are particularly welcome.

Talk/Workshop Details:

Proposed Title: Clear and concise.

• Abstract/Description: A brief summary (150-250 words) outlining what attendees will learn.
• Target Audience: Specify the skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
• Session Type: (e.g., Technical Talk, Hands-on Workshop, Panel Discussion).
• Duration: (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes). Please indicate if your talk requires a specific setup for a hands-on session.
