We run evening events in London for people who build things. AI, software design, cloud and startups, without the hype.

We want engineers, CTO's or founders who have built something, broken it, and fixed it. Lessons learnt are mandatory, not a closing slide. If your talk includes "it depends" and you can explain why, you are our kind of speaker.

What works here

• AI and machine learning in production, including the parts that did not work
• Software and system design, and the trade-offs behind the decisions
• Cloud and architecture, platform engineering, and scaling lessons
• Startup and founder stories with technical depth

What does not

• Product demos or sales pitches
• Intro-to-X talks with no production context
• AI hype with nothing under the hood
• Anything you cannot back with numbers, code, an architecture or a postmortem

1/ In person, London

• Weekday evening, central London
• Strict [40] minutes plus 5 minutes Q&A
• You get a room of [30 to 60] engineers who came after work, so they will ask real questions
• International speakers welcome, but we cannot cover travel or accommodation

2/ Online

• Live streamed, roughly every month
• Around 45 minutes including Q&A
• Recorded and published on our YouTube channel
• No travel, so this is the simple route if you are outside the UK

First-time speakers are welcome for either format. We will help you shape the talk and run a dry run with you.
