The Carolina Code Conference is a welcoming and community-driven “polyglot” and cybersecurity conference that’s set to return on August 14th and 15th, 2026 (Friday-Saturday) at Flywheel in Greenville, SC. This conference invites coders of all experience levels to attend, plug into the development community, share their experiences and have a great time as well.

Topics range from Programming and Software Development, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, Product Development, Career and more!

Since the conference expanded to a 2 day event in 2024 we've averaged over 250 attendees each year. Within 3 hours of beautiful Greenville, SC we can easily reach Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, Augusta, GA, Charleston, SC and Knoxville, TN. Extending our reach to this entire quad state region has become a major focus of the conference moving forward. We are actively working to bring together the tech communities in the region every year!

As a speaker, our goal is to promote and amplify you. You can look forward to a committed single track event where you will be speaking to everyone in attendance. All talks are professionally recorded and published online to multiple channels (YouTube, X, Instagram & LinkedIn).  We'll publish any social media accounts that you wish to be linked to your speaker profile as well.

Each selected speaker will also receive 2 tickets to the event so that you may bring a guest if you wish.

It's going to be a good time and we hope you join us!

Single Track Commitment

Even with our growth, we're committed to remaining a single track conference where each speaker will have access to address the entire group of attendees with their passion.

Rather than a multi-track format where you may have to worry about winning your time slot once selected, we stagger the length of talks throughout the day in order to keep the audience engaged so speakers are asked to submit talks for multiple length formats: Keynote (45-60 minutes), Moderate (20-30 minutes) or Lightning (5-10 minutes). Keynote talks will open and close each day, while Moderate length and Lightning talks will alternate throughout each day (2023, 2024 and 2025 schedules). If a speaker drops out at the last minute, we may reach out to you to increase the length of your talk to fill the slot. This format has worked well for us since 2023.

Social Media Promotions

If you have anything going on professionally that you'd like us to share on social media, we will be happy to do so. Again, our goal is the amplify you. Just ask. We're planning to utilize a more focused marketing budget for this year's event to amplify and focus our social media presence. We're most active on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram and Mastodon and YouTube.

As a polyglot and cybersecurity conference, we accept a very wide array of topics. In most cases, if you think it's interesting and relates to technology we probably will too! Make it weird if you want to as we're open to a wide variety of ideas.

If you have a talk related to a programming language that fewer people use, even better as we will try to avoid letting the conference agenda slant too far towards any one particular bit of technology.

If you have a talk about something that would apply to many different languages, frameworks, tools or technologies then that's game as well!

We will thoughtfully consider every submission. Keep in mind, in a mixed programming audience you may need to add some context about the language itself to any talk just to make it more relatable.

Divisive topics related to technology, like Vim vs Emacs will gladly be entertained. Topics that are political in nature or otherwise divisive will not be considered.

More speaking opportunities are available for Lightning and Moderate length talks.
