Hello Everyone - we have to cancel this event. We will run a series of 2 track smaller scale events every 2-3 months starting on November 13th.

Fall 2020 Global Azure Datafest (Postponed until November 6)

Corona virus update - Out of abundance of caution, we are re-scheduling the 2020 Reston Azure Data Fest until Friday, November 6 2020.  The location of the event will still be the same. We might add a second day to the event, or schedule some type of Azure event in August or September. We are still very much in "planning mode" on that. 

We are looking for 25 - 30 speakers to present on Azure Data Services, Azure Advanced Analytics, Azure Synapse, Big Data topics, Partner Technology, Power BI, Power Platform, and Open Source Solutions.

We plan on delivering an event overview and key note , then going straight into 5 tracks and maintaining this through the end of the day.

Planned schedule:

8:00AM  to 9:00AM - check in/breakfast/networking

9:00AM - 9:15AM - Event Introduction and Overview, combined

9:15AM - 10:15AM - Keynote, combined

10:30AM - 11:30AM - 5 Breakout sessions

11:30AM - 12:15PM - Lunch (potential for 4 lunch and learn sessions)

12:15PM - 1:15PM -  5 Breakout sessions

2:30PM - 3:30PM - 5 Breakout sessions

3:45PM - 4:45PM - 5 Breakout sessions

Sessions should be 1 hour in duration, level 300 or higher.  You can use best practices, case studies, demos, chalk talks, etc. We will try to accommodate everyone who submits a session.
