Group Overview

Are you passionate about cloud technologies and eager to share your knowledge with the community? The Chicago Cloud Computing Meetup is looking for speakers to present at upcoming events!

Our group brings together developers, architects, and IT professionals who are building, deploying, and managing solutions in the cloud. Whether you’re working with Azure, AWS, GCP, or other platforms, we’d love to hear from you.

🎤 We’re looking for talks on topics such as:

• Cloud architecture patterns and best practices
• Serverless computing, containers, and microservices
• Hybrid and multi-cloud strategies
• Security, identity, and governance in the cloud
• Data platforms, analytics, and AI in the cloud
• DevOps and automation for cloud-native applications
• Real-world use cases and lessons learned from cloud projects

When?

We're somewhat flexible and schedule the dates as venue/event space and presenters are available.

We meet every month in the first or second week, and usually mid-week on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. We start at 6 PM and end by 8 PM.

The Chicago Cloud Computing User Group meets at the downtown Chicago Microsoft office:

Presentations are delivered in person. At this point, we do not have the budget to cover travel costs.

Session Types

Every meeting will feature a full session which lasts 60-90 minutes.

We are also allowing speakers to deliver Lighting Talks, which are 10 minutes or less. This is ideal if you are a new speaker and want to try public speaking in a low-risk environment.
