Chicago Global Azure 2025
Global Azure is an annual event organized by the worldwide Microsoft Azure community. Chicago Global Azure 2025 is a local event organized to take part in the Global Azure event happening around the world.
Attend Chicago Global Azure 2025 to learn from local Azure experts, community leaders, and fellow tech practitioners on a variety Azure-focused topics.
The speakers will including industry experts, Microsoft MVPs, Microsoft Regional Directors, Microsofties, and members of the local tech community. You'll gain valuable insights and practical Azure knowledge to enhance your skills and career.
This free in-person event will take place on Friday, May 9 at the McDonald's Global Headquarters in downtown Chicago. The event will begin at 9:00 AM and continue into the afternoon until 3:00 PM. Please feel free to arrive up to a half-hour early. Lunch will not be provided. There is a McDonalds on location and other food options close by.
Whether you're a beginner or have years of experience with Azure, this event will be a fun and educational experience and a chance to meet and collaborate with other members of the Chicago tech community.
Be mindful that space is limited. We ask that you only register if you are certain you will attend Chicago Global Azure 2025. If you register but can't make it, please cancel your registration.

Our focus for this event is to discuss Modern App Development on Azure, taking a close look at the following topics:
- distributed system design and cloud app architecture
- compute, serverless, and containers
- data platforms, relational databases, and nosql
- messaging and eventing
- identity, authentication, and authorization
- API design, development, and operations
- telemetry, monitoring, and alerting
- DevOps, build and release management, infrasture as code (IaC)
- artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and OpenAI
- and more
Please submit sessions along these topics. If you're passionate about a topic that isn't listed here but it's related to app dev in Azure, feel free to submit it! You can submit up to 3 sessions, so if you're an expert in more than one area you have the opportunity to deliver multiple sessions.
We invite you to share this event with your peers who may also be interested in speaking at this event.
This event is a free community event organized to take part in Global Azure 2025. We will not be able to reimburse for travel expenses, accommodation expenses, or offer payment for speaking/presenting. If you are interested in speaking at Chicago Global Azure 2025, please be aware that there will be no payment or reimbursement of any kind.
We are looking for speakers who are passionate about the topics listed above and who are willing to share their expertise with attendees at this event.
