Children of Doom is a crazy and funky community and ecosystem that includes a 3-day open-air science festival, that debuts in May in Berlin, 2019. It connects technology and science enthusiasts; experts from the fields of biology, geology, meteorology, chemistry, astronomy; tech engineers, developers as well as outdoor lovers and survival experts.
The focus is on combining THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE with PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS and SERIOUS FUN!
Alongside the scientific program and survival workstations who offer the chance to try out new technologies and learn how to survive a global collapse, Children of Doom will showcase artists and music performances in a run-down location with Berliner flair. In the evening, participants can look forward to a science slam, a get-together/networking event and an open-air cinema featuring a doomsday movie.
Send us a brief description of your topic and its relevance for the Children of Doom including how you will engage with the festival audience and face the challenge of explaining your (most likely) complex topic to an audience with various backgrounds and levels of education.
