1-day conference with multiple speakers and workshops at EPIC Innovation, focused on the TechWeekNZ themes of:

  • Foundations – Tech strengthening our national infrastructure
  • Future – Emerging technologies and breakthrough innovation
  • Growth – Tech growing New Zealand’s economy
  • Life – Tech making everyday life easier
  • Social Good – Tech solving social challenges
  • Governance – Frameworks to guide tech responsibly

We are looking for:

  • 6 Speakers - each addressing 1+ of the topics above
  • 6 Workshops - on practical techniques or demonstrations
  • 1 panel - multiple speakers addressing the TechWeek themes through the lens of AI

Speaking slots are 45 minutes, and will run solo.

Workshop slots are 25 minutes.

There are also some 5-minute Demo slots.

This all-day conference will be held at EPIC Innovation, 100 Manchester St, and will run all day. All volunteer, no cost for attendees, no compensation for speakers. Feel free to pitch for the last few minutes of your slot, and bring marketing collaterals to distribute.

Are you a Christchurch expert in Artificial Intelligence?

Share your experience and your wisdom with the local community during our full-day EPIC AI Conference!

We are looking for speakers on AI topics that people of all levels would find useful. In your submission, please provide:

  • Your name, position, and bio
  • Title of your session
  • Description
  • Audience level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
  • Session type (presentation or workshop)

Presentations will be 45-minutes and will include all audience attendees. Workshops are 25 minutes, and will focus on practical, interactive activities that can upskill participants. There are also a few 5-minute demo slots - 5 minutes of slides, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A from the audience.

This is a free conference, so we cannot offer compensation, but please bring marketing collaterals to distribute after your talk.
