Cloud Gossip has been running since 2018, and is hosted by Annie Talvasto & Karl Ots.
Annie Talvasto is an award-winning international technology speaker & marketing leader. She has been recognised with the CNCF Ambassador & Azure MVP awards. Annie has been a co-organizer of Kubernetes & CNCF Finland meetup since 2017 and has spoken at technology conferences across the world, including KubeCon + CloudNativeCon, Microsoft Build & Ignite, KCDC and NDC. Annie also has hosted Cloud Native Live, a weekly livestream by CNCF, since 2021.
Karl Ots is a cloud and cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience working with large enterprises in fields such as technology, manufacturing, and finance. Karl is recognized as the global top technology visionary with the Microsoft Regional Director award. He is a patented inventor, best-selling author, a LinkedIn Learning instructor, and a Microsoft Azure MVP. He holds the Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, SABSA Foundation SCF, CCSP and CISSP certifications.
The first season of Cloud Gossip was built to help people understand the underlying terms, technologies & concepts that might be foreign in the cloud world. After the second season the podcast has delved deeper into the technology and features interviews with top industry experts.
