Cloud Native Amsterdam is a community meetup for people who build, run, break, fix, and learn modern cloud native systems.

We bring together engineers, developers, platform teams, SREs, architects, students, maintainers, and anyone curious about the CNCF ecosystem. Kubernetes is often part of the conversation, but we also go beyond it: observability, GitOps, security, service meshes, platform engineering, CI/CD, storage, networking, developer experience, and the many CNCF projects that help teams solve real infrastructure problems.

Our goal is to create a friendly and practical space where people can share what they are building, what they have learned, and what did not go as planned. We welcome talks from first-time speakers as much as experienced presenters, and we are especially interested in honest stories from real projects, open source work, production lessons, demos, and ideas that help the community move forward.

Whether you are new to cloud native or already deep into Kubernetes, Prometheus, Argo CD, Cilium, OpenTelemetry, Istio, Flux, Helm, or other CNCF technologies, you are welcome here.

Come to learn, share, meet other people in the local community, and help grow cloud native in Amsterdam.

We are looking for talks for Cloud Native Amsterdam, a local CNCF community meetup focused on practical learning, open source, and real-world cloud native experiences.

We welcome proposals from engineers, developers, platform engineers, SREs, architects, students, maintainers, open source contributors, and anyone working with or learning about cloud native technologies.

Talks do not need to be polished success stories. We are especially interested in honest lessons from real projects: what worked, what failed, what surprised you, and what others can learn from your experience.

Suggested topics include:

Kubernetes, platform engineering, GitOps, observability, security, CI/CD, networking, storage, service meshes, developer experience, cloud native architecture, open source contribution, CNCF projects, production operations, incident learnings, and practical demos.

Relevant CNCF projects include, but are not limited to, Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Argo CD, Flux, Helm, Cilium, Istio, Envoy, Backstage, Crossplane, Falco, Harbor, and Linkerd.

We welcome both beginner-friendly and advanced sessions. First-time speakers are strongly encouraged to submit. If you have learned something useful, built something interesting, solved a painful problem, or made mistakes others can learn from, we would love to hear from you.

Please include a clear title, a short abstract, the intended audience level, and what attendees will learn from your session.
