For our next Cloud Native Rabat event, we're telling a complete story: the journey of an application from a developer's laptop to a live, monitored service. We need three expert speakers to guide our community through each chapter of this story.

We are looking for speakers to fill one of the following roles:

The Containerization Expert:
Show us how to take an application and package it into a container using Docker or Buildpacks.

The CI/CD Guru:
Take that container and show us how to automatically deploy it to Kubernetes using a CI/CD pipeline (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

The Observability Champion:
Once the app is live, show us how to monitor its health and performance with tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Please note: As a new community chapter, we are run entirely by volunteers and do not have a budget. This is a volunteer opportunity to share your passion and expertise with a growing community. We are incredibly grateful for your willingness to contribute.

If you have practical knowledge in one of these areas, we invite you to share it. First-time speakers are warmly welcomed. Submit your talk and become a key part of our story!

Thank you for your interest in speaking at Cloud Native Rabat! For this event, we are weaving a single, continuous story: "From Code to Cloud: The Journey of a Modern Application."

We are looking for three speakers to act as our guides, each leading a 25-minute chapter of this journey. Your session should be practical, hands-on, and aimed at empowering our community with real-world skills. While we welcome deep technical knowledge, your primary goal should be to make complex topics accessible and actionable.

Live demos are highly encouraged!

Chapter 1: The Containerization Expert
Your Mission: To take a sample application (e.g., a simple web app) and package it for the cloud native world.

We're looking for a session that covers:

The "Why": A brief, clear explanation of why we containerize applications.
The "How": A practical demonstration of writing a Dockerfile or using Cloud Native Buildpacks.
Best Practices: Show how to create an optimized, secure, and efficient container image.
Outcome: Attendees should understand the fundamentals of containerization and feel confident in packaging their own applications.

Chapter 2: The CI/CD Guru
Your Mission: To take the container image created in Chapter 1 and build an automated pipeline to deploy it to a Kubernetes cluster.

We're looking for a session that covers:

The "Why": Explain the importance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for velocity and reliability.
The "How": A live demonstration of building a CI/CD pipeline. We are particularly interested in seeing examples using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar popular tools.
Best Practices: Discuss concepts like GitOps, environment promotion (dev -> staging -> prod), and handling secrets.
Outcome: Attendees should grasp how to automate the path from a code commit to a live deployment on Kubernetes.

Chapter 3: The Observability Champion
Your Mission: Now that the application is live, show us how to ensure it's healthy, performant, and reliable.

We're looking for a session that covers:

The "Why": Introduce the three pillars of observability (metrics, logs, and traces) and why they are critical.
The "How": A practical demonstration of instrumenting the application and setting up monitoring dashboards. We are looking for talks using tools like Prometheus for metrics collection and Grafana for visualization.
Best Practices: Show how to create meaningful alerts, build insightful dashboards, and use observability data to troubleshoot a problem.
Outcome: Attendees should leave knowing how to get started with monitoring their applications and what key signals to watch for.

Who Should Submit? :
If you have hands-on experience in one of these three areas, we want to hear from you! You don't need to be a professional speaker. First-time speakers are enthusiastically welcomed and encouraged. Our goal is to share knowledge within the community.

Remember: As a new, volunteer-run chapter, this is an unpaid speaking opportunity. It's a chance to build your profile, share your passion, and help grow the cloud native ecosystem in Rabat. We are immensely grateful for your contribution!

We can't wait to see your proposals
