Community Over Code is where you will learn about the latest innovations from Apache Software Foundation (ASF) projects and their communities in a collaborative, vendor-neutral environment. This year, Community Over Code will take place at the charming city of Bratislava in Slovakia where open source communities from all over the world will have an opportunity for free-form discussion and planning around our various projects.

We're excited to announce that the first edition of Community over Code Europe (formerly known as ApacheCon EU) will be held at the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel in Bratislava, Slovakia from June 03-05, 2024! This eagerly anticipated event will be our first live EU conference since 2019.

We welcome submissions on any topic related to the Apache Software Foundation, Apache projects, or the communities around those projects.

We are thrilled to introduce a new feature this year: a poster session. This addition will provide an excellent platform for showcasing high-level projects and incubator initiatives in a visually engaging manner. We believe this will foster lively discussions and facilitate networking opportunities among participants.

Session length

We are planning for all talks (except poster sessions) to be 30 minutes long, inclusive of optional Q&A.

Benefits

The primary speaker (except poster session) of a session gets a free pass to the conference. Additional speakers get a discount at committer rate.
