Thank you for considering ColorCloud 🌈 as a place to speak. You as a speaker are a crucial part of the success of our event. That's why we are planning on taking extra care of you.

For the fourth edition of this event, we are very happy to host you in beautiful Hamburg again.

Please read and follow the instructions below carefully, to make the submission and selection process as smooth as possible for all of us.

Creating a good session submission

Our friends at the Nordic Summit have created a fantastic guide on how to write good session submissions (https://nordicsummit.info/blog/call-for-speakers-submit-sessions-successfully/).

If you follow it, your chances of getting selected increase tremendously.

Here is the TL:DR summary:

  • Create an interesting title which catches the eye of the reader
  • The session description is the most crucial and important part. It should answer the 3 questions What?, Why? and How?
  • Mention what the takeaways for the attendees will be.

Session type

We plan for the following session types:

  • 45 min sessions
  • 20 min Lightning Talks
  • Whole day Workshop

Session language

We plan on having 50% English and 50% German sessions. So feel free to submit in either of those languages.

Depending on the amount of submitted sessions it might increase your chances of acceptance when you submit a German session.

Session topics

You can present your knowledge in Microsoft's Business Applications. Select one of our tracks (Power Platform, Power BI/Fabric, Low-Code AI, Pro-Code AI, Customer Experience, Business Central, Finance and Supply Chain Management, Governance & ALM, Community & Softskills) when you send in a session proposal.

Every submitted session should have some relation to Business Applications. Combining several of our topic areas will give you a higher chance of selection 💪

Power Platform

Sessions focused on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and the broader Power Platform ecosystem. We are looking for practical solutions, real-world use cases, architecture and development approaches, automation, integrations, and lessons learned from building and scaling low-code business solutions.

Power BI/Fabric

Sessions covering Power BI and Microsoft Fabric across the modern data and analytics lifecycle, from data engineering and integration to modeling, visualization, governance, and advanced analytics. Share practical insights, architectures, real-world projects, and techniques for turning organizational data into trusted, actionable insights.

Low-Code AI

Sessions exploring how AI can be used to build intelligent solutions with low-code and no-code technologies. Topics may include Copilot Studio, AI agents, AI Builder, Copilot capabilities, prompt engineering, AI-powered automation, and practical ways to bring AI into business processes without extensive custom development.

Pro-Code AI

Sessions aimed at developers and technical professionals building sophisticated AI solutions with code. Topics may include AI engineering, custom applications and agents, APIs, Azure AI services, model integration, RAG, orchestration, software architecture, security, performance, and taking AI solutions from prototype to production.

Customer Experience

Sessions focused on using technology to create better, more connected, and more personalized customer experiences. Topics can include Dynamics 365 Customer Experience applications, customer insights, sales, service, marketing, journey orchestration, AI-powered experiences, and practical strategies for improving customer engagement and outcomes.

Business Central

Sessions covering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and how it can be extended, customized, integrated, and used to improve business processes. We welcome technical deep dives, implementation experiences, AI and automation scenarios, development and extensibility, integrations, and real-world customer or partner stories.

Finance and Supply Chain Management

Sessions focused on Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management and the transformation of complex financial and operational processes. Topics may include finance, procurement, manufacturing, planning, inventory, logistics, warehousing, forecasting, automation, AI, integrations, and lessons learned from real-world implementations.

Governance & ALM

Sessions covering the practices and technologies needed to govern, secure, maintain, and scale Microsoft business applications and low-code solutions. We are looking for content around governance, security, compliance, environments, Center of Excellence, application lifecycle management, DevOps, deployment strategies, solution management, and enterprise architecture.

Community & Softskills

Sessions focused on the people and practices behind successful technology communities, teams, and careers. Topics may include leadership, communication, collaboration, public speaking, mentoring, community building, career development, diversity and inclusion, productivity, personal growth, and lessons learned from working in the technology ecosystem.

Session levels

The following are the session levels we use. Those are according to the standard Microsoft and the Community is usually using. The description is the expectation we have for the attendees.

  • Introduction (100): Attendees have little to no expertise in the given topic. The session covers an overview.
  • Intermediate (200): Attendees have an overview (100) knowledge of the given topic. The session will deepen the knowledge to a certain degree.
  • Advanced (300): Attendees have a deep knowledge of the topic (at least level 200). The session will give an in-depth knowledge of the topic.
  • Expert (400): Attendees should have in-depth knowledge as well as good experience of the topic. The session will be an expert-to-expert interaction.

Mentoring

We aim to have a mentoring program for new or inexperienced speakers. Even if we won't have a dedicated mentoring program are we happy to help anyone with the session submission or preparation for the session.

Don't let that fear be the reason you do not submit. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding this.

Beyond Your Bubble 🫧

Who’s missing from the stage?

Think beyond the people you already know, follow, and hear from. Nominate someone outside your usual bubble – someone with a different perspective, background, experience, or story.

New voices. New perspectives. A more colorful ColorCloud.

Planned Timeline

The Call for Speakers (CFS) is open until October 31th, 2026. We plan on choosing all speakers until mid of November and have a ready-to-go agenda by beginning of December.
