Container Plumbing Days

event date

15 Apr 2024

location

Seattle, Washington, United States

Calling all container technology experts. Submit a proposal for a conference session or lighting talk, and share your insights.

Container Plumbing Days continues in 2024, moving from virtual to in-person. Join us for an engaging one-day event where developers investigate, discuss, hack, learn, and celebrate the “lower-level” open source container technologies, everything from the container runtime on down to the Linux kernel.

Container orchestration and top-level applications may get most of the exposure, but they only work because of an infrastructure of supporting tools and libraries: in short, the “plumbing” that makes platforms like Kubernetes work. There’s plenty of development still to do there, and plenty of new ideas that have not yet been fully explored.

The event will blend formal talks with interactive, community-driven discussions, and will include working group discussion tables, a group lunch and plenty of opportunity for hallway track collaboration.

Don't miss this opportunity to engage, learn, and connect with peers and experts in the field of container plumbing. Join us for a day of insightful discussions, innovative ideas, and meaningful connections.
