Have a breakthrough idea, innovative application, or practical insights in data streaming? Share your expertise at Current London 2025: The Data Streaming Event (formerly Kafka Summit). 

We’re seeking software engineers, data engineers, architects, AI practitioners, open-source contributors, researchers and academics to inspire the community with their work in data streaming, AI, analytics, application development, and data engineering.

How to Submit

Your submission should include:

  1. Title: Captivating, clear and concise.
  2. Abstract: 200–400 words summarizing: Core theme and relevance. Technical depth (tools, methodologies). Real-world connection and audience takeaways.
  3. Presentation type: 15-min lightning talk (1 speaker) or 30-min breakout session (2 speakers max)
  4. Target Audience: Beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
  5. Speaker Details: Name, title, company, bio, headshot.
  6. Optional: Speaking sample.


Suggested Topics

We’re looking for technical talks on topics such as:
  • Foundations of Data Streaming: Event-driven architectures, distributed systems, shift-left paradigms.
  • Open Source in Action: Kafka, Flink, Iceberg, AI/ML frameworks and others.
  • Operational Excellence: Scaling platforms, BYOC, fault tolerance, monitoring, and security.
  • Data Engineering & Integration: Streaming ETL/ELT, real-time analytics, analytics.
  • Real-World Applications: Production case studies, Agents/RAG/GenAI/AI with streaming data.
  • Performance Optimization: Low-latency processing, exactly-once semantics.
  • Future of Streaming: Emerging trends and technologies, federated, decentralized, or edge-based streaming architectures, Agentic reasoning, research topics etc.
