Data Mesh is a strategic approach to modern data management and a way to strengthen an organization’s digital transformation journey. Data Mesh Days are where data leaders and practitioners gather to share best practices and use cases, forge critical relationships, and learn about advancements in data mesh. The intent of this day is to provide a vendor-neutral space for sharing and learning about data mesh.

Data Mesh Days are hosted by the Data Mesh Learning community. Our goal is to make it easy for you to learn about data mesh, drive buy-in at your company, and connect you with others on their data mesh journey.

Data Mesh Day for Life Sciences [Virtual]

Thursday, May 11, @ 7:00-11:00 PT / 14:00-18:00 UTC

Our first-ever Data Mesh Day focuses on Life Sciences. We are requesting submissions that pertain to how data mesh is being used in Life Sciences only. Proposals including proprietary solutions or commercial product offerings will not be accepted. We will be looking for submissions from underrepresented and/or marginalized groups. We will not accept submissions with all-male panels.

Suggested Topics:

  • Learnings and experiences of putting data mesh into practice
  • Solutions to data mesh challenges, patterns, and practices
  • End user case studies for data mesh in the areas of Domain Ownership, Data Products, Self-serve data platforms, or Federated Computational Governance
  • Data mesh trends that can help others validate their journey
