October is Neurodiversity Awareness Month, and the DEI group wants to bring you an event solely focused on neurodiversity!  So, are you ready to make a profound impact by sharing your experience around the everything neurodiverse? Our upcoming Neurodiversity Day, hosted by our dedicated DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Virtual Group, is the perfect platform for you to inspire others through the power of your own experiences.

If you’re interested in speaking on a neurodiversity topic, we are opening the CFP and look forward to your abstract! Examples of topics that may help as you write your own abstract:

• Tips for succeeding with neurodiversity in the workplace.

• Professional networking when you have Aspergers

• Finding great managers as a neurodiverse employee

• Navigating the corporate workplace as a neurodiverse employee for the win

• Tools and software that makes all the difference for Dyslexia/Dysgraphia/Dyscalculia (difficulty with reading/writing/math)

• Technology that is a win when you’re ADHD

• What’s the difference between ADHD, Autism and do they overlap?

• How my sensory or dyspraxia(coordination) issues are affected by the world around me.

Although there is some overlap with mental health day topics, our goal is to keep the two events separate, and we may request to hold your abstract if the talk falls more in line with the annual May event.

So, plan on submitting a talk or attending, but fly your neurodiverse flag – It’s time for us to shine!

Join us in creating a safe, empathetic, and inclusive space where we can all learn from one another's experiences.

For inquiries or additional information, please email us at email.

Together, Let's Share, Learn and Grow!

Important Note: No Medical Advice or Diagnosis is part of this event.

We welcome all who are professionally or self-diagnosed as neurodiverse.  These sessions are for informational purposes only and provide tips and tricks to provide value to those in the technical industry who identify as neurodiverse.

Types of Talks

We have three kinds of talks you can submit a Lightning Talks of 15 minutes or an hour-long presentation, or bring your friends along for an hour-long panel discussion.

Maximum of 3 submissions per speaker.
