This inclusive approach ensures that professionals with diverse cloud expertise can find value in the event, exploring data management, AI, machine learning, and other critical topics from all angles. With a strong emphasis on community and learning, this event promises to be a comprehensive and enriching experience for data enthusiasts across all levels.

About the Conference:

At our Data Platform Conference, we're dedicated to delivering an exceptional learning experience to our attendees. We offer a dynamic program featuring 4 or 5 different tracks spread across 5-6 blocks, with 24-30 sessions in total.
This ensures that our conference caters to a wide spectrum of speakers and attendees, whether you're a seasoned Analytics Maestro, DevOps Pro, Developer by Nature, Reporting Enthusiast, or a Cloud Aficionado.

Session Details:

Session Length: 60 minutes, 20 minutes or Training Day (full day of training)

Topics: We welcome sessions on any data-related or non-technical topic.

Max No. of Sessions per Speaker: You can submit up to 5 session proposals.

Difficulty Level: We encourage speakers to consider the varying expertise levels of our attendees, ranging from beginners to seasoned IT professionals. If you submit multiple sessions, please provide content suitable for different skill levels. We are operating with the following levels as a pointer for experience/level:

  • 100 - novice, up to 1 year
  • 200 - intermediate, 1-3 years
  • 300 - advanced, 4-6 years
  • 400 - expert, 6+ years
  • 500 - subject matter expert, 8+ years

Bonus points in the selection process if you are:

  • Speakers residing in the Nordic countries
  • First-time speakers. We will offer newcomers an experienced mentor to help them prepare.
  • Diversity (i.e. diversity in gender, race and ethnicity, disability and neuro-diversity)
  • Diversity in topics and technologies 


Examples of Data Topics (but not limited to):

RDBMS/SQL: Explore SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, Oracle Database, MariaDB, CockroachDB, Snowflake, IBM DB2, and other related products.

NoSQL: Dive into discussions about CosmosDB, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Couchbase, and other NoSQL databases.

Data Visualization: Share insights on Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SSRS, Crystal Reports, and other data visualization tools.

Infrastructure: Discuss topics like DBA/DevOps practices and the use of Private, Hybrid, and Public Clouds with platforms such as VMware, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google GCP, Oracle Cloud, IBM SoftLayer, and more.

Development: Present sessions on Data Lake, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Database Development, Data Engineering, and Integration techniques.

Data Science: Delve into Python/R, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning.

Women in Tech: Share your experiences and insights on the role of women in the tech industry.

Personal Branding: Discuss strategies to build a personal brand in the tech world.

Building Your Own Tech Company: Share your entrepreneurial journey and lessons learned.

Your session proposal should provide a clear understanding of the value attendees will gain from your presentation.
