Data Saturday Oslo is a free training event for professionals who use data platform capabilities either on-premises or in one or more of the 3 major public clouds Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.

Data Saturday Oslo is an event run by volunteers from the #datacommunity/#sqlcommunity for the community. Our event will strive to offer content across data management, cloud and hybrid architecture, analytics, business intelligence, AI, and more.

We welcome submissions covering the 3 major public clouds, AWS, Azure and GCP in addition to topics for on-premises and hybrid environments.

  • We encourage residents of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark to submit to our "local" event.
  • We have a dedicated track for newcomer speakers, speakers who has never presented at a public event. The selected newcomer speakers will be assigned a mentor who will support and guide them all the way until it is "go-time" on September 10th.
  • Due to our international audience the presentation language is English
  • The session format will be 60 minutes

Since this is a free event for the attendees and the event is run by volunteers in their spare time we are not in a position to pay our speakers.
