Join us for an evening of real-world data and AI stories in Malmö!
Databricks Skåne Meetup is a community gathering for data engineers, architects, and AI practitioners in the Skåne region. Whether you're actively building with Databricks or just curious about what others are doing, this is your evening! great talks, good food, and even better conversations.
Doors open at 17:00. Expect one or two customer stories, a Databricks demo, and plenty of time to mingle before and after.
We're looking for practical, experience-driven sessions from practitioners who have worked with Databricks in real production environments. The best submissions tell a clear story - what the problem was, how Databricks was used to solve it, and what was learned along the way.
Accepted topics include:
AI/BI dashboards and Genie
Agentic and compound AI systems
Lakehouse architecture and OLTP serving
Data engineering pipelines (Lakeflow Connect, Auto CDC, declarative pipelines)
Data quality and observability at scale
Session formats:
Short session – 20 minutes (including Q&A)
Full session – 40 minutes (including Q&A)
Expertise level: All levels welcome, though sessions should be relevant to a technical audience of data engineers, data architects, and AI/ML practitioners.
Target audience: Data and AI professionals in the Skåne region working with or exploring the Databricks platform on Azure / AWS and GCP.
First-time speakers are very welcome!
If this would be your first time speaking at a public event, we actively encourage you to submit. We believe great insights come from all experience levels, and we're happy to support new speakers in preparing their session.
