Speak at DataTune 2027

Nashville · Friday, March 12 – Saturday, March 13, 2027

DataTune is Tennessee's largest community-driven Data & AI conference, bringing together practitioners, leaders, builders, and learners from across the region and beyond.

See past sessions

You do not need a groundbreaking idea to have a great DataTune session.

If you have solved a real problem with data, shipped something useful, untangled a messy architecture, made a difficult technical or leadership decision, tried something that did not work, or learned something others could benefit from, that could be a DataTune talk.

First-time speakers are welcome. Experienced speakers are welcome. We care much more about useful ideas, practical experience, and honest lessons.

Two ways to speak

Saturday Breakout Sessions

Share what you have learned with a room full of people who actually work in data and AI. Saturday sessions are 60 minutes and make up the core of the DataTune conference program.

Accepted speakers receive full conference admission and promotion across DataTune channels. Saturday sessions are unpaid.

Friday Hands-On Workshops

Want more time to teach? Friday workshops are designed for deeper, hands-on learning and seat up to 40 attendees.

Workshop leaders are paid $200 per attendee. In 2026, DataTune paid more than $25,000 directly to workshop leaders.

What are we looking for?

Data and AI increasingly overlap, so instead of forcing every session into a rigid track, we use topic tags to help build a broad and balanced program.

Topics may include:

  • Data Engineering
  • AI Engineering
  • Machine Learning & Data Science
  • Analytics & Visualization
  • Data Architecture
  • Semantics & Ontologies
  • Data Governance & Quality
  • Career Growth
  • Leadership & Team Development

Do not see your topic listed? Submit it anyway. We are interested in strong ideas, not forcing everything into a predefined box.

Practitioner-first, vendor-neutral

Talk about the tools you actually use, but teach something useful beyond a product pitch. The strongest DataTune sessions usually combine real-world experience with lessons the audience can apply in their own work.

DataTune is built by the community, for the community. If you have something useful to teach, a lesson worth sharing, or a perspective that could help someone else do their job better, we would love to see your submission.
