A lack of gender diversity continues to plague the technology industry. Women are vastly underrepresented and under-promoted in technology roles, hindering the industry's overall efficacy
Day of Shecurity is a conference designed to promote gender diversity in cybersecurity by providing women speaking, learning and networking opportunities.
In North America, Secure Diversity and the Lookout Foundation have partnered in hosting 10 conferences over the past 7 years reaching over 6,000 women in the industry, featuring 321 female presenters giving 211 sessions supported by 90 corporate sponsors including Google, Microsoft and AWS!

Day of Shecurity welcomes women speakers of all experience levels to share their knowledge and expertise. If you would like to join our esteemed keynote speaker Vandana Verma and speak at Day of Shecurity, please complete this proposal form for talks that fit into one of the following Themes:
Security Operations: Exploring the latest strategies and best practices for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats in real-time to safeguard organizational assets and mitigate risks effectively.
Privacy, Data and Zero Trust: Delving into cutting-edge technologies, regulatory frameworks, and strategies for ensuring data privacy, building trust with stakeholders, and safeguarding sensitive information.
Governance, Risk & Compliance: Navigating the complex landscape of regulatory requirements, risk management strategies, and governance frameworks to ensure organizational compliance and resilience in the face of evolving cybersecurity threats.
Cybersecurity Trends and Emerging Technologies: Presenting the latest trends, innovations, and emerging technologies shaping the cybersecurity landscape, from AI and machine learning to IoT and cloud security.
Cybersecurity Careers and Career Development: Exploring diverse career paths, skill sets, and advancement opportunities within the dynamic and rapidly growing field of cybersecurity.
Emotional Intelligence and Leadership: Surveying critical leadership skills, emotional intelligence topics, and effective communication strategies required to thrive, lead and succeed in various cybersecurity roles.
Desi Jugaad: Offering innovative technical and low-tech solutions for real-life challenges focusing on practical, useful and repeatable advice.

Proposals will be reviewed to confirm 1) fit with conference theme and mission, 2) level of detail of submission, 3) novelty of topic. A group of core staff will set the final conference agenda based on reviewer feedback. Here is an example of a great proposal.
CFP Closes 7 April. Speakers will be notified of review results by 24 April.
Speakers who successfully present their proposed session at the conference will receive a certificate attesting to their participation in the Day of Shecurity Speakers Program and a link to their talk on YouTube.
