Since its inception, Deserted Island DevOps has been a conference about bringing DevOps practitioners together to share, to learn, and to grow into their best selves. For 2022, we’re interested in talks about growth, and how you nurture it. In the face of global pandemics, political and social unrest, and a creeping sense of existential dread, how are we finding community, camaraderie, and professional development? We’re also interested in what’s new, what’s next, and what you’re learning or have learned over the past year – come share with everyone!

Suggested Topics

  • How remote work is transforming knowledge sharing.
  • Challenges and opportunities of distributed teams.
  • What’s new in Kubernetes/Cloud-Native?
  • 15 Minute Lesson: Teach me about

As always, talks should aim to be approximately 15 to 20 minutes, and will be presented in the virtual world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Talks do not have to be ‘themed’ or about Animal Crossing – for an idea of what works, check out our previous events on YouTube.

Speakers will have a 30 minute session in total. The conference is single-track, over two days.
