The 2024 dev up conference is being held in St. Louis, Missouri from August 14-16, 2024. We are excited to be back and we are putting out the call to speakers looking to share their knowledge and experience with the regional development community. Our goal is to provide our attendees with either full or half day workshops or 1 hour sessions from passionate technologists.

What is dev up?

The dev up conference started in 2007 and was then known as St. Louis Days of .NET. Over the many years since we have expanded in size and scale to encompass a wide variety of technical and professional topics and sessions. This year the conference will be hosted at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Missouri.

The conference itself will be held over 3 days as follows:

  • Wednesday, August 14, 2024 – Pre-Conference Workshops
  • Thursday, August 15, 2024 – Conference Day 1
  • Friday, August 16, 2024 – Conference Day 2

As we have in the past, this year’s event is an IN PERSON event and all attendees will be provided lunches and be invited to an attendee party/networking event on Thursday, August 15th.

We are currently accepting submissions for standard one-hour sessions as well as 4 or 8 hour workshop presentations. If either a ½ or full day workshop session is accepted it will be presented on Friday, August 16, 2024.

We are encouraging speakers to present multiple sessions and typically, when a speaker is capable of presenting great content on multiple topics (over multiple sessions), their likelihood of being selected is greatly increased.

Unlike we have in past years we are not looking to focus our topics into specific “tracks” nor are we trying to limit the technologies or topics proposed by potential speakers. If you have a great topic you are considering a presentation on or have given a talk on something you loved in the past, please consider submitting it as a talk to our conference.

When submitting your sessions please be as descriptive as possible in the session title and description. Be sure to share any information you can about yourself and your talk with us directly (via the Sessionize form). We typically get over 200 sessions submitted and try to do our best to choose a great selection of topics and content. Please help promote your own sessions as best you can when describing them to us. The title and description you provide via Sessionize will also be utilized on our website and in our agenda to promote your session to attendees. We definitely look for content that we feel would be appealing to attendees looking to expand their knowledge and grow in our industry.
