DEVCORE CONFERENCE 2027

event date

13 Mar 2027

location

Taipei Taipei, Taiwan

At DEVCORE, we believe strong technical expertise is the foundation of both offense and defense. That’s why we continue to host DEVCORE CONFERENCE, a technology-driven, offense-oriented cybersecurity forum. From a hacker’s perspective, we explore novel attack techniques and insights — to inspire proactive defense strategies and help organizations anticipate emerging threats before they strike.

The DEVCORE CONFERENCE organizing team will review your submission and get back to you by the end of October 2026. Thank you for your patience while we work through the submissions.

Topics

We welcome submissions across the full range of offensive security research, including penetration testing, red team operations, social engineering, and physical security. This list is not exhaustive, and we are always interested in work that does not fit neatly into any of these categories.

Submissions

We welcome all submissions, and work that has not been presented publicly before will be given priority. If your research has been shown elsewhere and you have something new to add, we still want to hear from you. A talk that has already been given outside Taiwan is welcome, but the topic must not have been presented at any public conference or event in Taiwan, in any language.

  • Date: Saturday, March 13, 2027
  • Venue: Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), No. 1, Sec. 5, Xinyi Rd., Xinyi Dist., Taipei City 110, Taiwan
  • Expected Attendance: 400 to 450
  • Official Website: https://conf.devco.re/ (the 2027 page will be published soon)

[Speaker Benefits]

All benefits below apply per accepted talk, not per speaker. If a talk has more than one speaker, the speaking fee and the travel limits are shared between them.

Speaking Fee

  • NT$30,000 (approx. US$930) per accepted talk, before tax. For a talk with more than one speaker, this amount is divided equally among them. Taiwan tax law requires us to withhold income tax before payment. The rate depends on your residency status, and we will confirm the exact amount you will receive before the conference.

Travel Reimbursement

We reimburse travel on an actual-cost basis, up to the limits below. Each limit is the total available for the talk, not per speaker. Co-speakers may each submit their own tickets, but the combined reimbursement will not exceed the limit.

  • Travelling within Taiwan: up to NT$3,000 (approx. US$90) for round-trip high speed rail, train, or domestic flights.
  • Travelling from elsewhere in Asia: up to NT$30,000 (approx. US$930) for round-trip airfare.
  • Travelling from outside Asia: up to NT$60,000 (approx. US$1,870) for round-trip airfare.
  • The applicable limit is based on the city the outbound flight departs from. To claim reimbursement, please send us your e-ticket showing the fare paid, proof of payment, and boarding passes for both the outbound and return flights. Claims must reach us within 14 days after the conference.
  • Travel expenses will be reimbursed based on actual costs, up to the maximum amount specified above. If the total exceeds the cap, reimbursement will be limited to the maximum amount.
  • For sessions with multiple speakers, each speaker may submit their own airfare for reimbursement on an actual-cost basis.

Accommodation

  • We book and pay for one room at the conference hotel per accepted talk.
  • Talks presented by speakers based in Taiwan: one night, the night before the conference.
  • Talks presented by speakers traveling from overseas: two nights, the night before and the night of the conference.
  • Co-speakers are expected to share this room. We arrange one room per talk only. If you would like a second room, or would like to stay additional nights, you are welcome to book that directly with the hotel at your own expense.

Also included

  • A full conference pass for every speaker on the talk.
  • A visa invitation letter on request. Please tell us as early as possible if you need one.

Payment

All amounts are paid in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD) by bank transfer. USD figures above are rounded estimates for reference only, based on a rate of US$1 = NT$32 as of September 2026. The amount you receive will depend on the exchange rate at the time of payment. We cover the outgoing remittance fee; any intermediary or receiving bank fees are deducted from the amount you receive.

# CFP may close earlier than scheduled if all speaker slots are filled.
