Join us for the annual developer festival of sessions, workshops, training, codelabs, and much more by awesome speakers. With over 2,000 developers from across the South West Region of Nigeria in 2018, more than 2,200 from #DevFestLagos 2019, and also our virtual DevFestLagos event in 2020, DevFest 2021 promises to be bigger and better and is going to feature physical, in-person audiences.
This event will take place on Saturday, November 27, 2021, and will feature sessions on Mental Health, Mobile, Design, Web, Cloud, DevOps, Machine Learning, and still more to come. The sessions are happening in parallel so you will get to choose and plan to attend the sessions that fit your profile or things you’d like to learn about.
In case you are wondering, DevFests are large-scale community-run events that can offer speaker sessions across Google product areas, workshops, codelabs, or hackathons. This DevFest is organized by fellow developers who are organizers of several Google Developer Groups.
DevFestLagos is a prestigious platform to share your knowledge and experience with the community. Through this CFP we are accepting great talks from the community - and are open to experienced and first-time speakers. Our team will review each submission and shortlist talks and sessions from it.

We are interested in sessions for any of these areas -
This is not an exhaustive list. If what you want to talk about isn't covered, reach out anyway, it might just be what we're missing and need.
More than anything else, we are interested in real-life experiences and problems because these are usually more impactful
Our talks are each between 45 minutes and 60 minutes and suitable for in-person formats and live-streamed as well.
Our events have always been heavily over-subscribed and have been spotlighted multiple times by Google on the global stage and published by the most popular tech blogs and sites in the space. DevFest Lagos 2021 is a media event, so thereafter, your session would be published across platforms, including YouTube for the world to see and watch.
