What Kind of Talks Are We Looking For?

We are looking for more than just slide decks. We want to see your passion in action! We are seeking experience-driven, technical talks that feature live coding, product demos, and real-world case studies.

Show us what you've built, how you built it, or code something amazing live on stage. Your session should leave our attendees inspired and equipped with new skills they can apply immediately.

We are particularly interested in talks covering the following tracks:

AI/ML: Practical applications, new models, and real-world implementation.

Cloud & DevOps: Building scalable infrastructure, automation, and best practices.

Web Technologies: Modern frontend/backend frameworks, performance, and architecture.

Agentic Experiences: Exploring the future of AI-powered agents and assistants.

Mobile Development: Android, Kotlin, Flutter, and cross-platform solutions.

Cybersecurity: Best practices for building safe and secure applications.

Design & UX: Creating intuitive and beautiful user experiences.

Technical Writing: The craft of clear and effective documentation.

Web3: Decentralised applications, blockchain, and the future of the web.

Product Management: From idea to launch - the art of building great products.

Session Formats:

Standard Talk: 30-minute session (including Q&A).

Workshop/Codelab: 45-minute deep-dive, hands-on session.

Important Information for Speakers:

Please note that DevFest Abeokuta 2025 is a fully in-person event, held in Abeokuta on the 6th of December 2025. All speakers must be available to present in person.

As a community-run event driven by volunteers, we regret that we are unable to provide financial support for travel or accommodation. 

However, all selected speakers will receive a full event pass, exclusive speaker swag, etc.
