DevFest Abuja 2025 Powered by Google Developer Groups (GDG) Abuja, this year’s DevFest will spotlight inclusive AI, ethical tech, and grassroots innovation, bringing together over 2,000 developers, designers, data scientists, product managers, students, and startup founders from across Nigeria and beyond.
Expect a full day of hands-on workshops, lightning talks, technical keynotes, panel discussions, startup showcases, interactive games, and career-building opportunities all in a vibrant, culturally rooted atmosphere.
DevFest Abuja 2025, is an annual developer festival powered by Google Developer Groups (GDG Abuja). It brings together 2,000+ developers, technologists, founders, designers, students, and policymakers for a full-day immersive experience of learning, building, and connection.
We are looking for engaging, technically sound, and practically insightful talks and workshops across the following tracks:
AI & Machine Learning:
Generative AI (Gemini, Gemini CLI, Vertex AI, etc.)
Building with LLMs and multimodal models
Responsible AI, fairness, and explainability
Cloud & Infrastructure:
Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Run, App Engine, etc.)
DevOps & Site Reliability Engineering
Cloud Security and Compliance
Web, Mobile, and Cross-platform Development:
Dart & Flutter (Advanced topics, animations, state management)
Web3, Backend Systems, API architecture
Frontend performance and design systems
Workshop Tracks
We’re particularly interested in hands-on, beginner-to-intermediate workshops such as:
“Leveraging BigQuery for Business Data in Google Cloud”
“Using Gemini CLI effectively for coding and automation”
Session Formats Accepted:
Workshops (30–40 mins)
Audience: A mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced tech professionals developers, designers, data scientists, students, and tech entrepreneurs. Talks should be inclusive, practical, and culturally aware.
