DevFest Armenia 2025 — Call for Proposals

What we’re looking for

Practical, experience-driven sessions across AI/ML, Web/Frontend, Android, Cloud/Backend, Data/Analytics, DevOps/SRE, Security, Testing/Quality, UX/Design Systems, and Product/Developer Experience. Real case studies, demos, and hands-on insights are highly encouraged.


Session formats

Talk — 25 min + 5 Q&A (default)

Lightning — 10 min

Workshop — 90 min (hands-on; list prerequisites and software)


Audience & language

Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced audiences. English preferred; Armenian welcome—please specify language in your submission.


Selection criteria

Clarity: clear title, concrete abstract, outcomes.

Practical value: actionable takeaways, demos, or code.

Originality: fresh angle or hard-won lessons.

Fit: aligns with tracks and audience level.


We welcome first-time speakers and aim for a diverse lineup.


Speaker experience

You’ll get a complimentary badge and on-site A/V support (projector/HDMI, mic). Sessions may be photographed/recorded; indicate if you prefer not to be recorded.


No sales pitches

Vendor/product content is fine when educational, but pure marketing is off-limits.


How to write a strong proposal

State: (1) problem/context, (2) your approach, (3) what attendees will be able to do afterward. For workshops, include setup steps and dataset/repos.


Submission fields (template)

  • Title (max 70 chars)
  • Abstract (4–6 sentences; what/why/how)
  • 3 Takeaways (bulleted)
  • Outline (time-boxed)
  • Audience level (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced)
  • Language (EN/AM)
  • Tags/Track (AI, Web, Android, Cloud, Data, DevOps, Security, Testing, UX, DX)
  • Prerequisites (tools, skills; for workshops: laptop setup)
  • Speaker bio (60–100 words) + links (GitHub, LinkedIn, slides/video)\
