DevFest Armenia 2026 is coming to Yerevan on November 21, 2026, bringing together developers, engineers, students, researchers, and technology enthusiasts for a full day of technical learning, knowledge sharing, and community.
Organized by GDG Yerevan in collaboration with the Zaven P. and Sonia Akian College of Science and Engineering (ACSE) at the American University of Armenia (AUA), this year’s DevFest is expected to welcome around 300–350 attendees, with approximately 20 speakers across two parallel technical tracks.
We are looking for speakers who want to share practical experience, technical insights, lessons learned, deep dives, case studies, or ideas that can bring real value to the developer community.
Session formats:
Technical talks — 20 minutes
Workshops — up to 60 minutes
A limited number of workshop proposals may be selected depending on the agenda and available space.
Topics may include, but are not limited to:
AI & Generative AI · Agentic AI · Cloud · Google Cloud · Web · Android · Flutter · Angular · Backend Engineering · Distributed Systems · DevOps · Infrastructure · Data · Security · Developer Tooling · Software Architecture · and other relevant engineering topics.
We welcome submissions from speakers of all backgrounds, companies, communities, and levels of speaking experience. What matters most is the technical relevance of the proposal and the value it can provide to the audience.
DevFest is a community-driven technical event, and sessions should be educational rather than promotional. Product pitches, company advertisements, and sales-oriented talks will not be accepted. Commercial partnership with the event does not influence speaker selection.
If you have something useful you’ve learned, built, researched, experimented with, or even failed at and learned from, we’d love to hear about it.
Submit your session and join us at DevFest Armenia 2026!
We welcome speakers of all experience levels — from first-time speakers to experienced conference presenters. What matters most is the relevance of the topic and the value it can bring to the developer community.
Talk length: 20 min, including presentation and, if applicable, Q&A.
Submissions should follow these principles:
Talks must be technical, educational, or otherwise valuable to the technology community.
Product pitches, company advertisements, recruitment presentations, and sales-oriented talks are not accepted. Mentioning your company or product as context is fine, but the session itself should focus on knowledge and experience that is useful beyond a particular commercial offering.
Topics should have a reasonable connection to the Google developer ecosystem, technologies used alongside Google technologies, or the broader open-source developer ecosystem. Talks focused entirely on technologies unrelated to Google or open source may not be a good fit for DevFest.
Topics may include areas such as AI and Generative AI, software engineering, cloud, web, mobile, backend and distributed systems, DevOps, data, security, developer tooling, engineering leadership and management, and other relevant areas.
A talk does not need to be exclusively about a Google product. For example, sessions about AI architecture, security, engineering practices, open-source technologies, or technical leadership are welcome when they provide meaningful value to our audience.
Sessions should aim to share practical knowledge, lessons learned, technical insights, architecture decisions, research, engineering experience, or useful approaches rather than promotional messaging.
Speaker selection is based primarily on technical relevance, quality of the proposal, and potential value for the audience.
We encourage submissions from different backgrounds, companies, communities, and levels of speaking experience.
