GDG Arusha invites passionate speakers, industry practitioners, Google Developer Experts (GDEs), and tech educators to share their knowledge at DevFest Arusha 2026!
Under this year's global theme, "Build, Secure, Scale: Developers and Builders in the Agentic Era," we are examining how AI models and powerful tools allow developers to do more, faster, while empowering non-traditional developers ("builders") to bring diverse ideas to life.
Event Structure & Formats:
Our two-day event caters to two unique audiences, and we are looking for tailored content for both:
Day 1 (Secondary School Edition): Inspiring introductory talks, foundational tech concepts, and engaging digital mentorship for young learners.
Day 2 (University & Community Ecosystem Edition): Advanced technical talks, architecture breakdowns, hands-on code labs, AI agent orchestration, security best practices, and ecosystem growth stories.
What We Are Looking For:
Tech Talks (30–45 mins): Deep dives, case studies, or architectural explorations.
Hands-on Workshops (1–2 hours): Interactive, "learning-by-doing" labs focusing on AI tooling, cloud tech, web/mobile development, or security.
Lightning Talks (15 mins): Fast-paced, high-impact presentations on emerging tech or community innovations.
