DevFest Bandung 2026 is the largest annual community-driven tech conference hosted by GDG Bandung. Centered around a "learning by doing" approach, DevFest Bandung brings together developers, builders, Google Developer Experts (GDEs), and industry professionals to learn, prototype, and collaborate.

This year, we are featuring two primary tracks:

  • Developer Track: Deep-dive technical sessions covering modern architecture, GenAI, agentic applications, Cloud, and Google tools (Gemini API, Flutter, Firebase AI Logic, GenUI).
  • Builder Track: Hands-on sessions designed for tech-savvy non-developer professionals (Product Managers, Designers, Marketers) exploring AI utilities, workflow automation, and tech infrastructure.

We invite speakers, industry practitioners, and Google Developer Experts (GDEs) to share their insights, real-world experience, and technical experiments.

Acceptable Topics & Focus Areas:

  • GenAI & AI Agents: Gemini API, Agentic Apps with Flutter/Firebase AI Logic, GenUI, Prompt-to-Production, and AI Automation.
  • Horizontal & Industry Tracks: Applying Google AI and Gemini to solve industry-specific challenges (e.g., Healthcare, Science, Finance).
  • Software Engineering & Cloud: Tech infrastructure, engineering best practices, web/mobile technologies, and cloud architecture.

Session Formats:

  • Tech Talk (30–45 mins): In-depth technical presentations featuring live demos or case studies.
  • Guided Hands-on / Workshop (60–90 mins): Structured sessions guiding attendees from ideation to production.
  • Builder Lightning Talk (15–20 mins): Concise presentations focused on practical tooling, workflow automation, or product conceptualization.

Target Expertise Levels:

  • Beginner / Builder: Accessible to non-developer roles, focusing on integration and tool utilization.
  • Intermediate & Advanced: Code-heavy sessions focusing on system architecture, implementation details, and optimization
