DevFest is an annual decentralized tech conference hosted by Google Developer Groups across the globe.
DevFest 2023 with GDG Bujumbura brings together developers for the largest weekend of community-led technical learning and a shared passion for Google technologies on Dec 09.
The magic of DevFest has always come from the people involved - developers from all different backgrounds and skill levels.
For GDG Bujumbura DevFest 2023, GDG Bujumbura is coming together in-person over one weekend. This global moment empowers developers to teach, learn, and connect when they may need it the most.
The festival may cover multiple products such as Android, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, Google Assistant, Flutter, machine learning with TensorFlow, and mobile web.
The event will include speaker sessions, hackathons, codelabs, study jams, and trainings with speakers from Google Developers Experts, Women Techmaker Ambassadors, and speakers from other companies.

Speaking slots will be limited and competitive. We'll prioritize sessions that:
- Are original and authentic
- Are free of sales pitches
- At least one medium-to-long paragraph Session Description — required for consideration
Have more than one topic you'd like considered? No problem. Just submit a new proposal for each.
Accepted talks range from Codelabs, Software demos, Study jams, to non-technical ones. Feel free to submit your talks for review.
