GDG DevFest Cardiff 2019

We are looking for a good spread of subject areas and programming languages. Language basics, practical applications, and how to’s are all welcome! Although we would, of course, love to hear from speakers able to teach us about Google technologies, developers from all disciplines are welcome!

• Open workshops are for subjects where you’ll introduce a subject area or some tooling and encourage attendees to experiment, offering guidance as required.
• Guided practicals are more for step by step guides and how to’s, where attendees will likely follow along but not be expected to venture far from the demo.
• Talks are the ideal format for non-technical topics. DevFest places a great emphasis on community, and we’d like some talks about community organising or building diverse networks.

We expect attendees to come from a mix of technical expertise, but in order to accommodate the range of subjects we’d recommend steering away from talks which required significant expertise in a narrow field.

We're more likely to be able to cover travel than accommodation but if you have specific needs please include them in your submission and we'll do our best to cover them.
