This year's event will feature workshops, talks, and hands-on coding sessions covering a wide range of topics, from web development, mobile app development and artificial intelligence. DevFest Lafia provides a valuable opportunity for participants to connect with like-minded individuals, gain new skills, and contribute to the growth of the tech community in Lafia.

Speaker Submission Guidelines for DevFest Lafia 2024

  1. Relevant topics (but not limited to): Web Development, Mobile Development, AI, Cloud, DevOps, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Tech Leadership, Career Growth, Product Management, Diversity and Inclusion in Tech, and Startup Culture.
  2. Original content, please.
  3. Submission deadline: September 30th (may close sooner).
  4. Include a detailed outline of your talk with key takeaways.
  5. Presentation must be in English.
  6. Unfortunately, virtual talks will not be accepted. All speakers are expected in person.
  7. Talk duration: 20-45 minutes (including Q&A).
  8. Adhere to the DevFest code of conduct (respectful, inclusive).
  9. Honorarium will be offered for selected speakers (especially those traveling from outside Lafia).

Speakers will be promoted on the event website and social media.
