DevFest is coming back to Linz — and this year, we're going bigger.
Join us for a full day of technology, learning, and community at the Dynatrace Engineering Headquarters in Linz.
DevFest Linz 2026 brings together developers, engineers, AI builders, students, tech enthusiasts, and community members to exchange knowledge, discover new technologies, and connect with people who are building the future.
This year we'll have two parallel tracks covering four main areas:
🤖 AI & Machine Learning
Generative AI, Gemini & Gemma, AI Agents, Agentic Systems, RAG, Multimodal AI, On-device AI, MLOps, Responsible AI and AI-assisted development.
📱 Mobile
Android, Flutter, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, Mobile Architecture, Firebase, On-device AI, Performance, Security and more.
☁️ Cloud & Backend
Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Serverless, Backend Development, APIs, Microservices, Databases, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Observability, SRE and Cloud Security.
🌐 Web & Developer Experience
Web Development, Angular, JavaScript & TypeScript, Web MCP, Web APIs, PWAs, Frontend Architecture, Web Performance, Developer Tools, Open Source and Developer Productivity.
Expect technical talks, real-world engineering stories, practical knowledge, new ideas, and plenty of opportunities to meet and connect with the local and international developer community.
DevFest is a global community-driven technology conference organized by Google Developer Groups. The 2026 theme is “Build, Secure, Scale: Developers and Builders in the Agentic Era.”
🎤 Call for Papers is officially OPEN!
We are looking for speakers who want to share their knowledge and experience with the community.
Whether you work with AI, Mobile, Cloud, Backend or Web — if you have an interesting technical story, something you've learned, built, researched, or even something that went terribly wrong and taught you a valuable lesson, we want to hear about it.
You don't have to be a Google technology expert. Real engineering experience and great technical stories are welcome.

DevFest Linz 2026 is looking for speakers!
On November 26, 2026, developers, engineers, tech enthusiasts, and community members will come together at Dynatrace Engineering HQ in Linz for a full day of learning, sharing, and connecting.
This year, DevFest Linz will feature two parallel tracks, and we’re looking for speakers who want to share real knowledge, practical experience, interesting ideas, and lessons learned.
What are we looking for?

We want to hear about something you built, learned, researched, improved, broke, fixed, or discovered.
Deep technical sessions are welcome. Practical case studies are welcome. New ideas and experiments are welcome. And if something failed spectacularly but taught you something valuable — we definitely want to hear that story too.
First-time speakers are especially welcome to submit.
