DevFest Lokoja 2025 is the biggest annual tech gathering in Kogi State, powered by Google Developer Groups (GDG Lokoja) and part of the global DevFest movement. On November 8, 2025, developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts will come together for a full day of inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and networking.

This year’s themes include AI & Machine Learning, Cloud & DevOps, Mobile & Web Development, UI/UX, and Career Growth.

We’re calling on passionate speakers to share knowledge, showcase projects, and inspire the next wave of innovators. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time speaker, this is your stage.

We’re looking for sessions that are:

⦁ Relevant – Cover topics in AI, Cloud, Web, Mobile, UI/UX, DevOps, Startups, or Career Growth. Submissions should connect to real-world use cases and developer needs.

⦁ Practical & Actionable – Talks should leave attendees with clear takeaways, hands-on insights, or strategies they can apply immediately.

⦁ Inclusive & Welcoming – Content must respect GDG’s Code of Conduct, avoiding harmful language or exclusionary ideas.

⦁ Engaging – Aim for interactive, story-driven, or demo-rich sessions that spark curiosity and learning.

⦁ Time-appropriate – Lightning talks (15–20 min), regular sessions (30–40 min), or workshops (60–120 min).
