THE CONFERENCE
DevFest Nashik started as a day for developers, and it’s stayed one — but not the only kind. Over the years, the room has filled with founders, designers, engineers, and people who post about their work online more than they talk about it in person. This year, we’re just being honest about that.
DevFest Nashik 2026 runs across four tracks that carry equal weight on the agenda. Nobody’s headlining and nobody’s a warm-up act. A talk about a failed product launch sits next to a deep dive on Kubernetes, and both belong there.
If you’ve built something, broken something, or figured something out the hard way, that’s the qualification. Everything else is details.
THE FOUR TRACKS
THE SEED — Technology
AI, cloud, web, mobile, dev tools, open source, security — the stuff that breaks at 2 a.m. and the decisions nobody notices until they go wrong. Bring the talk you’d give a teammate over coffee, not the one you’d give at a shareholder meeting. Debugging stories count. So do demos that might not work.
THE BLOOM — Content Creator
For people building an audience alongside their skills. This isn’t a track about follower counts — it’s about what it actually costs to keep showing up: the slow growth, the posts nobody saw, the one that suddenly did. If you’ve figured out how to build a voice in tech, we want to hear the unglamorous version.
THE HARVEST — Entrepreneurship
Side project to something people pay for, or side project to something you shut down after eight months — either story works. Founders, indie hackers, and people who’ve tried turning an idea into a business are welcome here, whether or not it worked out. The audience isn’t looking for a highlight reel.
THE LABEL — Design & Branding
Design decisions people actually feel, even when they can’t name why. This track is for designers and creative leads talking through systems, identity, and the tug-of-war between what looks good and what works. Bring the case study, not the portfolio.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Not polish. A session doesn’t need to be perfectly rehearsed — it needs something real underneath it.
You built something that worked, or something that didn’t, and either way you learned something worth passing on. That’s the shape of a good DevFest talk. A technical breakdown, a framework born out of necessity, a case study, an experiment gone sideways, a perspective nobody else on the agenda would think to bring — any of that works, as long as someone in the audience walks out with something they can use.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Developers, AI and ML practitioners, cloud engineers, open-source contributors, tech leads, founders, product builders, designers, content creators, community organizers, students, independent builders — and anyone with a day job and a side project they haven’t told most people about yet.
If you’ve spent real time on something in one of these four spaces, you already qualify. This stage was never meant to be reserved for the loudest names in the room.
FIRST-TIME SPEAKERS, READ THIS
You don’t need a long speaker bio. You don’t need a following. You don’t need to have spoken at ten conferences before this one.
You need one useful experience, one clear perspective, or one story that taught you something worth repeating. That’s genuinely it. The confidence, the delivery, the stage presence — that comes after you’ve done it once, not before.
Some of our best sessions have come from people speaking for the first time in their lives. This could be yours.
A NOTE ON PROMOTIONAL SESSIONS
This stage isn’t a sales pitch, and the audience will know the difference within the first two minutes. We’re interested in what you learned while building, not simply what you’re selling. Mentioning your product is fine when it’s part of the story — just make sure the story is still the point.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS
Good ideas don’t come with a job title attached. We’d especially like to hear from women, students, first-generation founders, and anyone whose background doesn’t usually get handed the mic at conferences like this one. If you’ve got something worth saying, we’d rather hear it from you than not.
