DevFest is an annual decentralised tech conference hosted by Google Developer Groups across the globe.
DevFest Onitsha is being put together by community members to fit the needs and interests of GDG Onitsha.
Whether through hands-on learning experiences, technical talks by experts, or by meeting fellow local developers, DevFest Onitsha attendees learn how to build together and innovate on Google's developer tools and other innovative technologies.
We require that our speakers talk about topics that are relevant to the GDG community i.e. technical concepts/tools, career building concepts, community building concepts or new technologies that we feel can be beneficial to the community. Any topic outside these parameters will not be prioritized. For inspiration you can reach out to us via our support email for help in picking a topic that is relevant and which you will feel comfortable speaking about.
Our audience is mostly made up of tech enthusiasts and newbies so the ideal topic should be newbie friendly. Basic or intermediate concepts should be preferred to more advanced and technical concepts.
Please submit your topic when filling out this form so we will know what you will be speaking on.
We may not be able to offer transportation support to our speakers coming from outside Onitsha. So if you are outside Onitsha and need our support to get to Onitsha please communicate your location to us and we will try and send you the transportation support.
