DevFests are global tech events run by Google Developer Groups (GDGs) that offer a mix of talks, hands-on sessions, workshops, and a deep dive into the latest from Google and the world of open source.

For this year's celebration, GDG Glasgow, GDG Edinburgh, GDSC Glasgow Uni and Strathclyde & Women Techmakers Scotland are teaming up for DevFest Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, aiming to bring together the brilliant Scottish tech community within Glasgow's vibrant center for a jam-packed day 🎉

DevFests are local tech conferences hosted by Google Developer Groups (GDGs) around the world, filled with talks, demos, and workshops about the latest in tech.

This year, the GDG squads from Glasgow and Edinburgh are teaming up for DevFest Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 right in the heart of Glasgow. Dive into Google's newest stuff and more, learn from the experts, and network with the community!

We will have several speakers with interesting and exciting talks. The talks will be related to one of the following tracks discussed at the Developer Conference:

  • AI
  • Cloud 
  • Web
  • Mobile

We are looking for 30 minutes and 60 minutes talks/workshops.

Unfortunately, we are not able to cover travel and accommodation expenses for speakers coming from outside the United Kingdom.
