About DevFest Singapore 2026

DevFest Singapore is a premier, community-driven conference uniting technologists, developers, students, tech companies, and industry leaders in a single space to explore, discuss, and experiment with the latest in technology.

This year, our theme centers on a critical industry shift: Build, Secure, Scale: Developers and Builders in the Agentic Era. 🤖☁️

We are excited to deliver an elevated conference experience structured around two distinct tracks:

  • The Workshop Track: Designed for hands-on learning and practical skill development, offering deep dives into Google Cloud and cutting-edge Generative AI tools. 🛠️
  • The Conference Track: Featuring insightful talks and presentations from industry experts and Google Developer Experts (GDEs) covering core technologies, including Android, Flutter, Firebase, Web, and Machine Learning. 🎤

To maximize value, we carefully curate a targeted selection of high-quality, focused sessions for each track. This ensures ample opportunity for attendees to deeply engage with the content, master new skills, and connect meaningfully with fellow participants.

Hi! Thank you for your interest in speaking at DevFest Singapore 2026. Please review the available session formats and submission guidelines below to help craft your best proposal.

🕒 Available Session Formats

We are looking for builders, creators, and experts to share their knowledge. Choose the format that best fits your content:

  • Workshops [90 minutes]: Hands-on, interactive sessions where participants learn by doing.
  • Product Showcases [60 minutes]: High-level overviews of new tools, products, or feature releases.
  • Deep-Dives [30 minutes]: Highly technical explorations of niche subjects (e.g., optimising cold starts on Cloud Run).
  • Developer Showcase [60 minutes]: Don't want to present on stage? Get a dedicated booth to demo your projects and chat with attendees directly. Note: This is a strict no-pitch zone meant for fun builds, not for corporate marketing, vendor pitches, or soliciting clients.

Have a different format or duration in mind? Let us know and we can explore other options together.

📝 Submission Guidelines

While not mandatory, following these guidelines will significantly strengthen your submission and help our committee evaluate your proposal effectively:

  • Clear & Relevant Titles: Ensure your title accurately reflects your topic at a glance. Catchy titles are fun, but clarity is essential for both the committee and attendees. (Note: All titles must align with our Code of Conduct).
  • Define Key Takeaways: Outline 3–5 concrete learning points. Clearly stating what the audience will walk away with helps your talk stand out, especially if we receive multiple submissions on similar topics.
  • Share Your Context: You don't need to be a world-renowned expert, but we want to understand your hands-on experience. Tell us if you are deploying this technology at scale in production, or if it is a personal side project.
  • Talk History: Let us know if you have given this presentation before. If so, share where it was delivered, how it was received, and what new updates or insights DevFest attendees can expect.
  • Keywords: Please select relevant tags from the pre-defined list in the CFP tool. If none fit, provide a custom list of keywords so we can easily categorize your session.

⚠️ Important Information

  • Community Standards: All speakers must adhere to the Google Event Community Guidelines and Anti-Harassment Policy
  • Communication & Privacy: By submitting your proposal, you agree that GDG Singapore may contact you. To ensure smooth collaboration, your email address may be shared with your co-speakers and the organising team. We strictly use your email only for purposes related to events organised by GDG Singapore and GDG Cloud Singapore.
