DevFest Abuja 2026 is a two-day, community-led technology experience bringing together over 2,000 developers, designers, technology professionals, students and innovators on Friday, 30 October and Saturday, 31 October 2026.
This year’s program is designed around practical learning, meaningful conversations and active participation and engagement not traditional lecture-style sessions.
Our four core tracks are :
UI/UX Design
User research, accessible design, design systems, product thinking, prototyping and designing AI-powered experiences.
Artificial Intelligence
Generative AI, machine learning, responsible AI, AI agents, practical AI applications and building AI-enabled products.
Cloud and Kubernetes
Cloud architecture, Kubernetes, DevOps, containerization, deployment, infrastructure automation and cloud security.
Mobile Development and AI
Android, Flutter, cross-platform development, mobile product engineering and integrating AI into mobile applications.
What to expect
Friday, 30 October – Hands-on Workshop Day
Friday will feature eight practical workshops, with two sessions under each track. Participants should leave each workshop having built, tested, designed or deployed something.
Saturday, 31 October – Keynotes and Masterclasses
Saturday will begin with three keynotes covering UI/UX, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud and Kubernetes, followed by interactive breakout masterclasses across all four tracks.
The program will also include conversations on emerging technology trends and how developers can use technology communities to learn, collaborate, find opportunities and grow their careers.
We are looking for speakers and facilitators who can transform knowledge into an engaging experience through live demonstrations, guided activities, practical examples and meaningful audience participation.
DevFest Abuja 2026 is inviting experienced practitioners, builders, designers, engineers, educators and community leaders to submit sessions for our two-day program.
We are particularly interested in facilitators who can deliver practical, engaging and outcome-driven sessions. Workshops and masterclasses should feel like learning labs not classroom lectures.
