After 6 years, GDG Lisbon says olá! to DevFest once again! 👋🇵🇹
🔥 We're excited to DevFest 2025 season's theme:
"Building Safe, Secure and Scalable Solutions with AI and Cloud technologies."
👉 This year, DevFest 2025 will focus on empowering developer communities worldwide to "architect the future of tech". DevFest Lisbon 2025's sessions will guide attendees through practical integrations of AI and Cloud solutions into their existing applications and workflows.
👉 Our goal is to equip developers with the skills to build innovative, scalable, and ethically sound applications, acknowledging their pivotal role in shaping a technology-driven future that benefits everyone.
👉 From Web, Mobile, Cloud, and to AI and beyond, get ready for inspiring talks, and technical sessions sparked by the collaboration spirit that defines what GDG is all about.

🎤 So, you want to be a speaker?
Here are some key details for you to keep in mind:
- Languages: English or Portuguese
- Session types:
- Speaker led session: 45 minutes (including time for questions).
- Lightning talk sessions: 15 minutes (no time for questions).
- Topics: Even though the event's main theme is "Building Safe, Secure and Scalable Solutions with AI and Cloud technologies", don't let this discourage you from submitting a proposal that goes in another direction :)
- Expenses coverage: Unfortunately, since we're just coming back from a long hybernation period, we don't count with enough sponsorship budget to be able to pay for your travel or accommodation. But if your company is open to pay for your trip, we can add them as a sponsor (we can discuss this after you proposal has been reviewed)
