What We Are Looking For

DevOpsDays Islamabad is looking for inspiring, practical, and thought-provoking sessions that explore the intersection of people, processes, culture, and technology.

We welcome developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, Platform Engineers, Cloud Native practitioners, security professionals, AI/ML engineers, engineering leaders, students, and community members to share their experiences with Pakistan's growing technology community.

We especially value real-world stories,  including successes, failures, challenges, lessons learned, and practical implementations.

Session Formats

We accept proposals for:

 Presentations
25-minute talks followed by 5 minutes for audience questions and discussion.

Open Spaces
Community-driven discussions facilitated around a topic relevant to the DevOps ecosystem.

Audience

DevOpsDays Islamabad brings together a diverse audience, including students, developers, engineers, technical leaders, and experienced technology professionals.

We welcome sessions suitable for:

  • Beginner audiences
  • Intermediate practitioners
  • Advanced technical audiences

Please clearly indicate the expected level of expertise for your session.

What Makes a Strong Proposal?

We particularly appreciate proposals that:

  • Share real-world experiences and practical lessons
  • Explain challenges, failures, and what was learned
  • Provide useful takeaways for attendees
  • Encourage discussion and community learning
  • Offer original perspectives or experiences
  • Are accessible and relevant to a diverse audience
  • First-Time Speakers Are also Welcome
You don't need previous conference speaking experience to submit a proposal.

We strongly encourage first-time speakers and new voices to apply. Everyone has a unique perspective and story that can contribute to our community.

DevOpsDays Islamabad is a community-driven conference. While we value our sponsors and technology partners, sessions should focus on sharing knowledge and experiences rather than promoting or selling products or services.
