DevOpsDays is a series of technical conferences focused on the topics of software development, IT infrastructure operations, and the intersection between them. Our events bring together professionals from across the industry to discuss the latest trends, best practices, and challenges facing the DevOps community.
As an organizer for DevOpsDays Montreal, we're thrilled to invite you to join us for our upcoming event on November 1 and 2. Whether you're a developer, sysadmin, tester, product manager, or anyone else interested in DevOps, there will be something for you at DevOpsDays Montreal.
Our event will feature a variety of presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities, all centered around the themes of collaboration, automation, measurement, and sharing. We also believe that taking care of ourselves and each other is critical to our success in this industry, which is why we'll be including sessions focused on mental health and well-being.
You'll have the chance to learn from experts in the field, share your own experiences, and connect with like-minded professionals from around the region. We hope you'll join us for this exciting event and help us build a stronger, more vibrant DevOps community in Montreal.
Whether you're a seasoned veteran or just starting to explore the world of DevOps, there's a place for you at DevOpsDays Montreal. Thanks for your interest, and we look forward to seeing you on November 1 and 2!
We invite you to submit a talk proposal on a topic that is relevant to the DevOps community (this does not mean just technical talks! We also want to hear about culture, and other human experiences). Topics ideas are: automation, application lifecycle management, cloud, security, operations, engineering, configuration management, distributed systems, product development best practices, infrastructure, culture and team dynamics, diversity, mentorship, career progression, mental health, to name a few.
Speakers should commit to being available on those dates regardless of the Covid health situation at that time, so long as the government allows the event to run.
Please be aware we have a bias for local or near-local speakers given that health and travel situations could change at any time.
Please take a look at https://devopsdays.org/about prior to filling in this form. Please note that all attendees, including organizers and speakers, will be beholden to the code of conduct.
You do not need to have presented a talk before, first-timers are welcome. Multiple talk ideas may also be submitted. Eagerness to participate is the most important thing.
DevOpsDays is a volunteer event. We cannot pay you, and we're not paid either. You attend for free and we do our best to make you feel special! Most companies allow speakers to participate on company time, especially companies in technical spaces.
We'll contact everyone who submits, though depending on volume we may not be able to accept everyone. If you have questions reach out to montreal@devopsdays.org.
Please note we do not have a travel budget for speakers, but if you are in a situation where you might need help, reach out, we'll see what we can do.
Submission deadline: July 2nd, 2023 (11:59:59 pm 😉 GMT-5)
