DevSecCon is coming back to London for its 6th year! It is visionary and hands-on, catering to the full DevSecOps ecosystem with expert-led sessions on a broad range of key topics. 

For the upcoming DevSecCon London events we are looking for proposals on the topic DevSecOps and how to continuously secure delivery. Whether this is your first speaking proposal or you are a seasoned conference veteran, we want to hear and learn from your DevSecOps experiences. Share a story, a failure, a successful rollout or a tech stack that has enabled you to learn and advance in the broad space of DevSecOps.

Session Formats​

You can submit proposals for one of the following:

• Keynote (45min) - Inspiring and thought provoking session. 
• Conference session (40mins including Q&A) – On a range of different technologies, practices and methodologies.
• Lightning Talk (5min) - Sessions designed for speakers to give a quickfire view of a particular subject
• Workshops (2h) – Presentation, technical demonstration or discussion, all with an interactive element for participants
• Tools-in-action (5-10min) - Sessions focused on demonstrating technical development tools or solutions.
• BOF (15min) Informal sessions that give a chance for like-minded attendees to gather and discuss tools, topics and technologies in a relaxed setting.

**Note**

• Please provide a detailed abstract. Abstracts that do not clearly define the talk or are less than a paragraph will not be considered.
• Abstracts that are vague and do not include in-depth details will not be considered.
• Provide your top three (3) key takeaways for attendees.

We are looking for proposals in the following areas:

• DevSecOps, DevOps and Security teams learning experiences: the good, the bad and the ugly
• Cultural change in organisations: how you’ve challenged the status quo and implemented a new approach to secure development and delivery
• Applying DevSecOps and continuously securing delivery in an organisation:
•     Development – e.g. how to integrate security in your development without impact
•     Testing – e.g. how to integrate security testing into a frequent release cycle
•     Public and private cloud – e.g. automating security using cloud services
•     Operations – e.g. how to introduce business-focussed monitoring
•     Security – e.g. how to benefit from continuous monitoring to reduce residual risk
•     DevSecOps – e.g. how to automate operational integrated security assurance

We want to make a space for the perspectives of people that are underrepresented in or excluded from technology: people of color, women, LGBTQ people, people with disabilities, students, and many more. 

Absolutely no vendor pitches

Many of our most successful talks are by people who sell products in the same area they’re speaking about. If your talk is focused on promoting or selling your product,, it’s a bad fit for DevSecCon.

Code of Conduct

All speakers must adhere to the DevSecCon code of conduct.

DevSecCon is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

​Any form of written, social media, or verbal communication that can be offensive or harassing to any attendee, speaker or staff is not allowed at DevSecCon. Please inform a DevSecCon staff member if you feel a violation has taken place and the management team will address the situation. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. We expect participants to follow these rules at all conference venues (virtual or in person) and conference-related social events.
