DF23 is for everyone who works with Umbraco, the leading Open Source Microsoft .NET Content Management System, or who is interested in the Umbraco CMS.
If you want to know what can be done with Umbraco there will be case-studies and beginners sessions, session about Marketing & Umbraco and sessions to inspire you as a content editor, marketeer and of course as a developer. If you already work with Umbraco as a developers there are in-depth sessions about Umbraco 10, Umbraco 11 and probably already Umbraco 12.
Be ready for another great Umbraco community experience! After the success of recents years we are running an in-person event and we are ready to receive you all back on Thursday the 28th of September in the Fabrique in Utrecht. We can't wait to welcome you to the stage!
Please read the description below and feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
What topics can be featured in DF23?
How do we select the speakers?
We have a panel of reviewers with different backgrounds and perspectives. The proposals are presented to the reviewers, who then review each submission and add a comment. Once the review is finished, the next phase starts by discussing the top proposals. The decision is made based on the time slots available and the diversity of the topics.
As much as we want to accept as many proposals as possible, we are not always able to confirm a time slot for each of the proposals that received a positive review.
What format does the presentation have?
The sessions are planned to be 25 - 50 minutes long plus 5 minutes Q&A with the help of a moderator.
When can I expect to hear back from you?
We believe that a diverse environment fosters creativity, knowledge sharing, and innovation. In recent years, we have been actively seeking to increase the diversity of the DF23 attendees and speakers through the active support of a diverse speaker lineup and offering diversity and accessibility scholarships.
In this year’s event, we aim to feature speakers from different backgrounds, genders, and geographic locations in addition to a variety of organizations. We encourage people from all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences to submit their proposals.
Some practical information for your submission
If you have accessibility requirements, please let connect with us so we can work together on this.
Travel & Accommodation
DF23 covers expenses for travel and accommodation for selected speakers. However we are a community run event and if your employer can cover your costs that would be awesome.
