Join us for a Decade of Design for Emergency Management, a special online event celebrating our 10th anniversary. This two-day gathering brings together a global community of designers, researchers, emergency managers, first responders, academics, and policy professionals to share ideas, research, and real-world experiences related to emergencies and disasters.

The symposium will feature short presentations from members around the world exploring how design can support communities before, during, and after emergencies. Topics include inclusive evacuation systems, disaster wayfinding, crisis and risk communication, and other innovative approaches to improving emergency preparedness and response.

Each day will include four concise talks followed by interactive discussions and small breakout sessions, creating space for participants to connect, exchange insights, and learn from one another.

The event is free and fully online, making it accessible to participants worldwide.
