Build, learn, connect.

The East of England Summit was founded in 2026 and is a community-led conference run by volunteers with a passion for bringing people together in a unique way. Our inaugural event was something special. Community came together and built a conference that led to new partnerships, friendships and even careers!

Our 2027 event will consist of two days of sessions and workshops covering AI, D365, Power Platform, Azure, business adoption, and most importantly – the human side of technology.

Friday 30 April is workshop day — small-group, hands-on sessions with limited places (ticketed). Friday evening, we will arrange some socials for people to get together to meet new people and network ahead of conference day.

Saturday 1 May is the conference — completely free to attend, with four parallel tracks, an amazing keynote, a bustling expo hall, lunch included and kids activities for those bringing family, and of course, socials and networking after the event.

We are committed to an anonymous and balanced speaker selection to enable growth in our community. Our sponsors, attendees and speakers will benefit from a busy expo hall with games, competitions and fun throughout the day!

We want to hear your session ideas…Yes, yours!

The East of England Summit is looking for speakers to join us on Saturday 1 May 2027 in Norwich.

Selection is anonymous and you don't need to be an MVP to submit. We want to hear about the lessons you've learned, as an individual or as a business — success stories, challenges, interesting problem solving. Technical and non-technical are both on the agenda. Come and show off your skills and help others learn what you know.

Experience level is 100–400 and there's no barrier to entry.

THE TRACKS

  • AI: all AI, nothing else. Any vendor — Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, agents, governance, adoption.
  • Technical: anything Microsoft. Power Platform, D365, Fabric, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure, M365.
  • Business Adoption: making tech stick. Change, governance, CoE, business cases and stories.
  • The Human Track: careers, mental health, empowerment, community. No tech required.

A note on AI submissions

We have a dedicated AI track, but AI is now part of almost everything we do.

If your talk is entirely about AI, submit it to the AI track. If AI is just one part of your session — a tool you use, a theme you touch on — submit to whichever track fits the core of your talk best.

THE FORMATS

  • Standard session (45 min)
  • Lightning talk (15 min) — a brilliant first step for new speakers
  • Panel (45 min) — submit a full panel or an idea you'd like to moderate
  • Friday's workshops are curated separately and aren't part of this call.
