EdmData (Edmonton Microsoft Data Professionals User Group) is a not-for-profit community dedicated to knowledge sharing and professional connection across the Microsoft Data & AI ecosystem.

Formerly known as EDMPASS, EdmData brings together data professionals, engineers, architects, analysts, and leaders working with technologies such as SQL Server, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and AI.

Through regular meetups, we create a welcoming space to:

  • Learn from real-world experiences
  • Exchange ideas and best practices
  • Connect with peers across industries and experience levels

EdmData is always looking for speakers who are passionate about sharing practical insights, lessons learned, and real-world experiences across the Microsoft Data & AI landscape.

We host monthly sessions designed to help our community learn, grow, and stay connected. Topics range from foundational concepts to advanced, hands-on implementations.

  • Schedule: Monthly (typically Mondays)
  • Time: 12:00 PM Mountain Time (MT)
  • Session Length: 45–60 minutes, including Q&A
  • Format: Primarily in-person, with virtual attendance options
